Legend Chip Taylor Signs Up For Festival

We are delighted to announce that the legendary American singer song-writer Chip Taylor will play at Glasgow Americana this year. Chip will play on Friday 7th October in The Classic Grand. Tickets available here:- book online

Chip’s songs have been covered by a whole array of artists, he wrote “Wild Thing” that The Troggs had a hit with and also “Angel Of The Morning” that was a hit for The Hollies.

The Marshals Headline Show

The Wynntown Marshals have appeared at previous Glasgow Americana festivals by opening up for AJ Roach and Israel Nash Gripka. This year they will play their own headline show in The Hug & Pint on Friday 7th October.

The Scotsman, The Englishman & The Irishman

When a Scotsman, an Englishman and an Irishman walk on stage at this year’s 10th Anniversary Glasgow Americana Festival it will certainly be no joke.

For the talented trio of singer/songwriters – Roddy Hart (the Scot), Boo Hewerdine from England and Northern Ireland’s Ben Glover – will be performing in the round, with no shortage of superb material to choose from.

Jill Jackson GA Bound

Scottish singer/songwriter, Jill Jackson has been added to the 10th Anniversary Glasgow Americana Festival line-up.


The highly-rated, former Speedway front woman and former member of The Chaplins plays The Glad Café on Saturday, 8th October. This show is gathering a lot of interest already, so it’s best to buy your tickets early.
