GLASGOW AMERICANA HITS RIGHT NOTES
This year’s five-day Glasgow Americana attracted more than 700 fans to seven gigs with two sell-out performances.
This included far-flung music lovers from Holland and Ireland, as well as the Scottish islands, including Shetland and Eriskay.
And Glasgow Americana director, Kevin Morris says preparations for next year’s 10th anniversary festival are now well under way.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all music fans who supported Glasgow Americana and all the artistes who took part for making it a great success,” said Kevin.
“We have a reputation for providing intimate and memorable Festival experiences and the feedback has again shown this to be the case.
“It’s our tenth anniversary next year so we’ll be making special announcements in due course about who will be on the bill.
“We look forward to welcoming fans who have experienced Glasgow Americana before, and anyone who wants to sample the festival of music for the first time as well.”
